We all need to be lifted up and just get through our day with a bit of pep in our step and the knowledge that there is a higher power that has us in the palm of his hand.
For centuries songwriters, singers and musicians alike have have been signing the praises of an all knowing, all seeing and all powerful God that loves us all individually. From the book of Psalms in the Holy Bible to psalmists, soloists and others who want to give praises and honor to the Heavenly Father have been able to provide a healing balm to millions as they go through life.
This tradition continues now today with a unique artist from Little Rock, Arkansas by the name of Derrick Gibbs. This talented artist has combined his love of music and his love of praising God into one amazing freshman album you must get your hands on.
Derrick Gibbs and Pro Squad have released their first project entitled "Gospel Couture" or ....as he calls it praise and worship just for one. Gospel Couture is an amazing plethora of moving testimony to the amazing relationship we can all have with a God that changes with the times.

Don't Just Stand Still Move Forward

In our efforts to move forward in our lives and be progressive in all that we do, we sometimes sit still and reflect. We all do it. We think of things we should have done, the things that happened that caused a new course of action in our lives and all of the other things in life that have made us who we are. Sometimes it is good to look back over your life and see how far you have come. We must all do that occasionally and remain steadily grateful for where we are in our lives no matter where we are. However, when we look back, we have to make a decision not to "go back". Now take that for what ever you choose to take that as, but the reality is many of us did not earnestly choose to move forward. It was a nudge or a push that caused us to make a move in our lives. Sometimes it was a rug being pulled completely out from under us that caused us to move on with our lives and go on to the next phase in it. As we move towards our destiny and things begin to look clear and bright for us or we feel as if we are missing something from our previous life, we have to not look back at was but what is and live in the now. Many times when we make that thought to look back at our old lives by "calling up old friends and acquaintances", "going through old pictures of them and you",...we can become nostalgic and wish for those times and moments. Take for instance Lot's Wife. In the book of Genesis as we read about the destruction of Sodom and Gomorrah, Lot and his family are instructed to leave and not look back. However, Lot's wife did and she turned into a pillar of salt. A pillar of salt cannot get far can it? It only does one thing.....it stands still. Becoming stagnant and without a purpose in life that pillar of salt remains forever looking back at the past and never makes another move. If you just take a look back and see how far you have come when you become forlorn for your past, you will rethink looking back and wondering what if life had turned this way or that way. Your past is your past. You are encouraged today to allow it to remain behind you as you move forward in the life that is preparing you for your destiny.

Temar Boggs a Hero For Finding A Little Girl

15 year old Temar Boggs is being hailed a hero for finding a five year old girl who had been abducted. He is touting himself as just a regular kid that likes sports like football and  track.
Temar states that anyone can do what he did. He stated that he had a gut feeling that he would be the one that would find the little girl and he did.
He and a group of friends joined a search in their community after being asked by someone on the search team had they seen a little girl.
The gut feeling Temar got we all get that feeling...the call if you will. How many of us make the decision to answer and respond to that call within us? Or do we choose to ignore it missing an opportunity to be a blessing in someones life or even a blessing in our own? KZOE commends Temar Boggs for his heroism and for answering the gut feeling.
We have learned a lot from Temar in the past couple of weeks. Let's take that to heart and move with it in our lives.
